Counerfeit Kit Challenge

It’s a new month and I am really excited because I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to be guest designer for the monthly scrapbooking Challenge called Counterfeit Kit Challenge. It’s  a lovely free group of scrapbookers led by a great design team.

The aim is to use our stash which I love because it’s so important to use the products we have. Each month a scrapbooking kit is chosen for inspiration and we choose products in our stash to make our own kits replicating it in our own style and with our supplies. This can be in terms of the colours and patterns or embellishments used. I joined the group earlier this year and I am loving it. It has got me using my stuff and scrapbooking so much more as there are monthly challenges to join in with too.

Our Inspiration Kit

So the kit chosen for inspiration this month was the May 2022 ROUND TRIP 12 x 12 Add-On Kit from Citrus Twist. It is a beautiful kit full of summery colours, travel themed and lots of cool embellishments.

I dug deep into my stash and found lots of papers that shared similar colours and and patterns, and as a lover of florals it was great to be able to incorporate some of these. I also included some travel embellishments that I have had for a long time, probably over 15 years, so it will be good to get these used.
